Kennedy Space Center thrills us with two evening rocket launches while we are on Florida’s Space Coast
There is little time for sightseeing, though, between the logistics of becoming Florida residents and various maintenance, repair, administrative and bookkeeping tasks. Fortunately, the sights come to us…such as these spoonbills foraging near our campsiteAnd their cousin, the ibisAfter five inches of rain flood our campsite, we wade in ankle-deep water to hitch up and move out. But we’re interrupted as one of these four-foot-tall sandhill cranes purposefully strides toward us. He comes so close, Rhonda can almost touch himTree frogs find their way into the RV three times. The cats love it. Rhonda, not so much.Thankfully this stork keeps his distance, because we aren’t ready to be parents at this stage of our lives
